Probably wasn’t going to be at the top of my list for things to deal with in her list of white privileges, but I guess it’s a start.
Agreed, but I’ve always wondered if “advances” like this should really be considered progress when they are most likely done for economic/marketing reasons. Does unprincipled progress on false-pretense merely just further mask and blind us to the deep seeded racial injustice in this country? Perhaps I should change the title to “the times may be a changin’”
